Letter from the Editors

Dear Readers,

Welcome to Issue Seventy of The Collagist

This month, we have new fiction from Laurie Blauner, Anne Sanow, Michael Jeffrey Lee, and Janalyn Guo. We also have an embarrassment of riches in the excerpts department, with excerpts from The Arson People by Katie Jean Shinkle, Our Street by Sandor Tar, Toughlahoma by Christian TeBordo, and Mr. and Mrs. Doctor by Julie Iromuanya. Our poetry section has new work from Sean Thomas Dougherty, Lisa Zerkle, Eddie Kim, and Adam Day. In nonfiction, we have an essay from Justin Bigos.

In book reviews, we have coverage of No Other by Mark Gluth (reviewed by Meghan Lamb), Wasp Box by Jason Ockert (reviewed by Maria Burns), War of the Foxes by Richard Siken (reviewed by Trevor Ketner), and Today I Am a Book by xTx (reviewed by Gabino Iglesias).

Thank you for stopping by and checking out the new issue. We are, as ever, very grateful for all of our wonderful contributors, and for you, our readers.

Sincerely,
Gabriel Blackwell and Matthew Olzmann
